Andrea Diaz

Architectural Associate

Dallas Studio

Andrea Diaz brings a deep skillset to her role as an Architectural Associate, carrying a blend of technical expertise and creative vision to the team. Her journey with BWA began as an intern at the end of last year, and she has now seamlessly transitioned into a full-time role, contributing her skills in technical drawings, design, and rendering.

Andrea’s passion for architecture was ignited at a young age, driven by a fascination with buildings and their functions, from abstract concepts to practical applications. She always aspired to pursue a career that involved helping people, and during her undergraduate studies, she sought to connect architecture with human experiences. It was during her graduate studies, while tackling complex projects, that Andrea fully realized the profound relationship between the built environment and its occupants. This understanding is vividly reflected in her school portfolio.

Andrea holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she distinguished herself by receiving two AIA LiA awards and an AIA LiA Honor Award for her school projects. She was also honored with the SoA Award from UTA, further showcasing her dedication to excellence in architecture.

Outside the office, Andrea enjoys a variety of enriching activities. She is an avid reader, enjoys spending time in parks and the outdoors, and has a keen interest in documentaries and podcasts. Her multifaceted interests and commitment to both personal and professional growth make her a valuable member of the BWA team.
